We are planning a Valentine EVENT to raise funds to preserve, protect and educate the community on the importance of our historic landmark.

In 1821, James Arnold built the mansion and moved his family to what is now 427 County Street. The Arnolds would hold many parties that were the ones to attend by the New Bedford elite. James and Sarah also had elaborate gardens that were open to the public. We are committed to preserving the Mansion and recreating some of the gardens for the community to enjoy. It Is said James and Sarah haunt the Mansion and grounds.

On Saturday, February 16, 2019, in the Wamsutta Club at the James Arnold Mansion 427 County Street starting at 6 pm we will have Cocktails, a sumptuous Dinner, 2 one-act plays by Your Theatre, music by Ken and Donna duo “Living the Dream” along with a Silent Auction.

The tickets for this fundraising event are limited to 140 participants and will be $65.00 per person or $125 per couple. They will be available by mail or here on our website.
